Staple the Label has arrived!

OMG I am truly blown away by this really gorgeous range (it’s clothes lust in full swing).
Staple the Label is so reasonably priced too and we have new pieces arriving in all the time.
It’s clean and simple, classy, yet with a definite edge to it.
Come in for a try :) x

Welcome Bestowed Fashion

We are so thrilled to feature the Bestowed range of clothing by Sustainable Fashion.
Really comfy and beautiful to wear, think 100% organic cotton, bamboo, made within Australia, the list goes on of why I really adore this label.
Designed to mix n match, layer, and even turn inside out – this is clever fashion at it’s finest.
Come instore for try ;)

Real Estate Weekly - Jan 2016

Look at what the talented team at Real Estate Weekly – Mornington Peninsula created for – you are ACE!!!
Featuring the stunning Byron Bay label with cult following ‘Foundling Clothing’ which I adore x

We've Moved!

Hey did you know we’ve recently moved to new premises?
You can now find me just down the road, and at the end of another little lane… Rear of 138 Main Street, Mornington.
Pop in and say hello anytime, follow me on social media for all the latest, and check out all that our gorgeous Mornington Peninsula has on offer while you’re here. Thanks for reading my friend and hope to see you soon x

Real Estate Weekly - Cup Week Ad

Advertising a little outside the mainstream box and will be featured in the Melbourne Cup edition of Real Estate Weekly for the Mornington Peninsula… oh and watch out for the gorgeous horsey artwork by Andrea Wootton that makes a very special appearance somewhere in the mag :)

We're for Fair Trade

Pop in and see our range of hand woven jute market bags – some are big, some are small, in face they are all uniquely different!

Purchased from the fair trade organisation ‘Shohojogita’, a Bangla word that means to help each other.
By creating a market for these bags and their craft, we empower these rural Bangladesh women

Natural material combined with traditional weaving skills and a good cause = great in my book

We Support Beyond Blue

Friday nights down at the local ‘Kirks on the Esplanade’ from 6.30pm will see Friday night raffles in the Club Bar with ALL proceeds going directly towards Beyond Blue… Best of luck guys and I’ll be sure to pop in myself :)
Jardinerie is a proud supporter of your fantastic efforts.

Staggering stats that of around 2200 suicides each year – 80% of these are by men (that’s an average of 5 men taking their lives every single day). Remember this is an illness and not a weakness, with effective treatments available.

Support Small Business

What does ‘shop local’ mean these days, when everything is available at our fingertips…
There are so many small businesses out there, and every referral, poz feedback, and even small purchases go towards ‘keeping the dream alive’.

Mornington Peninsula (like lots of other areas) is spoiling us for choice for where to shop/eat/play etc etc. so if you stumble across a goodie – share the love x

Woven Wall Hangings

Pardon the pun… but don’t delay if you lovelovelove as these beauties won’t hang around long. (sorry)
Made exclusively for Jardinerie home and garden.

Thanks MP Magazine Mornington for our review.
These talented girls from Warped Threads also do workshops so let me know if you’re keen and I’ll put you in touch.

What’s your inspiration to get creative?…

Jardinerie Home & Garden is ONLINE

Whoo-hooo! It was a daunting task to learn how then create a website to be proud to share with you… Lots of goodies (with more to come), and what’s proving to be super popular, the Gifts for $30 and under section.

Your feedback is a valuable tool for me so keep your emails coming please – I look forward to reading them!

Don’t forget if your purchase is for someone special I will happily gift wrap for you :)

Happy shopping, and socialising boys and girls x

Mornington Peninsula Magazine - June

Oooh-ahhh I love this shot by the team at MP Magazine for their current June/July edition – as much as I adore neutrals a pop of colour on a Winters’ day goes a long way… Hope to see you soon instore x

Look What's Happening Down the Laneway

Wow, what a great day we had today with the start of the Mornington Winter Jazz Festival!

Our very own laneway was the first chosen by MPSC for this very cool “wall art” by the boys from The Snake Hole, graphic design studio in Mornington – check it out it’s an artists run gallery and studio www.thesnakehole.com (I’ve got creative envy).

We also had the good fortune to spend the day listening to toe tapping music (funny about that).

Can’t wait for day 2 of the festival.

Mornington Peninsula Magazine - April

This is my little ad in the April edition of Mornington Peninsula Magazine.
Featuring the butterfly sofa and versa table by Ambient Lounge – and on display in store.
I also have “the chair that hugs you” on the floor in a fresh citrus green and luscious red berry.
Test sitting is encouraged :)

Open for business

What lies beyond the green door

Jardinerie is now about 3 months old, a little treasure to discover located down the laneway just behind 200 Main Street Mornington (next door to Hocking Stuart).
An ever-changing collection of hard to find goodies (we’ve hunted high and low believe me), quirky decorator pieces, and we’re displaying art and handmade pieces by local artists.
I have sourced some really cool jute bags in a range of sizes and styles, all hand woven (so no two are ever really the same) by rural women in Bangladesh, and supporting ‘fair trade’.
Oh, and plants and orchids make my “little shed” a pleasure to come to work each day.
Pop in for a squiz, as the sign says… “Welcome!”
Happy day, Michelle x
